While other property experts are busy creating courses about get-rich-quick property investment, Jonathan’s been in the trenches – dealing with dodgy tenants, structural nightmares, and sellers who’ve been let down by estate agents. And that’s a lot of sellers.
I’ve been buying, selling and fixing problem properties for decades. Since 2008 alone, I’ve completed over 1,000 property transactions – everything from straightforward homes to absolute nightmares most people wouldn’t touch.
That experience gives perspective. I spend my time analysing housing data, spotting trends before they hit the headlines, and calling out the nonsense when the media gets it wrong. Property is rarely as simple as it’s made out to be, and that’s where I come in.
I specialise in solving the awkward, messy, and time-sensitive deals. The ones where chains collapse, finance fails, tenants won’t budge, or estate agents quietly throw in the towel. More than once, I’ve stepped in when others couldn’t get a deal over the line and finished it.
Alongside frontline property buying and selling, I’m a regular commentator in national media, a contributor to trade and agent publications, and a face on TV property features. I talk about what’s happening in the market – from house prices and impossible sales to landlord headaches and regulation fallout.
I’m also focused on how AI can eliminate holdups, hassle, and guesswork from property transactions. Used properly, it changes everything. That said, no technology beats standing in a house, spotting the real issue, and working out how to solve it fast.

Jonathan is a founder of The NAPB. A not-for-profit organisation committed to bringing the highest possible standards to for property buyers.
